CSS has two new positional alignment keywords as part of CSS Box Alignment Level 3: flow-start and flow-end. These are defined as aliases for the existing flex-start and flex-end keywords.

The scroll marker features used here currently have limited browser support. They’re supported in Chromium-based browsers, but Firefox and Safari don’t support them yet.

The nice thing is that the underlying HTML is still just a normal list of links pointing to sections. Browsers that don’t understand the new CSS still have perfectly usable navigation.

When Gareth previewed CSS: the bomb inside your inbox I was blown away. He could steal a login token with CSS alone, without having to recursively load another stylesheet for every character. Then I watched the browser wrestle with roughly 250 MB of CSS to recover a 12-character hex token. It worked. But such a large payload for 12 characters made me think there must be a better way.
