Wow, guess the looked under the cushion and found some change. Amazon, like Wal-mart, have some of the highest amount of employees on government benefits.

I switched from fire stick to onn box and it works good enough and can play emulators. I had to "side load" retroarch as the one in the play store didn't n't work as it wasn't the latest version. All I really care about is smart tube though.

We really need to kill sideloading as a concept. It's my hardware once I buy it. That's the way it's worked for hundreds of years. I won't tolerate this malarkey.

And then they'll be all shocked when their subscriber going goes down. And after that they'll increase their prices while also stripping away more features for their remaining subscribers.

This is just the same stupid cable subscription scam with a slightly different flavor of shit.

And they wonder why piracy is increasing.

Maybe if they didn't make Amazon search so awful users wouldn't turn to third party solutions. If I search for "Brand Model Size Color" I should get results for exactly that, not for thousands of things vaguely similar with my actual result halfway down the page if I'm lucky.

This is always what happens when you let the big fish swallow the little fish. Gotta shut down the competition!

The only surprise here is that it took this long.

Headline one year from now: "Amazon begs workers to come back after company lost billions with its AI takeover"

And frankly, nobody should even bother to send resumes to them after that!
